Hiring Manager: Oh, okay….so can you be more specific about your experience and how it would be of value to our organization?
Aditya: Well, I love working with people and with my experience and my education, I think I have a lot to offer someone.

Many recruiters are using "telephone interviews"
as the first stage of a job interview process. A telephone interview is a pre-scheduled
interview that takes place between a recruiter and a candidate who has applied
for a job role that takes place over the telephone. The telephone interview is
an effective way for a firm to screen many candidates quickly and with the
lowest overall expenditure of any type of interview.
Telephone interviews are usually fairly straightforward and
are mainly used to screen candidates out of an interview process. Often, all
recruiters will be looking for from candidates during a telephone interview
will be a calm, confident telephone manner and an intelligent set of responses
to interview questions.
Questions will usually focus on: CV, work experience and academic history; motivations for applying to the firm in
question, the particular industry and job role; your knowledge of the firm
itself (i.e.competitors, global reach, future plans); and, your skills,
qualifications and competencies.
